Tips for Tracts 2Even though most Christians are aware of Gospel tracts, they may not fully understand just how effective they can be. The Gospel tract is not meant to take the place of personally, verbally sharing the Gospel with people but rather to compliment the witnessing. Many times it is not possible to take time to witness to a person but a Gospel tract that is left with them can do the witnessing later. Pilgrim Fundamental Baptist Press has a handy book called Tips for Tracts. The Tips book has a lot of practical suggestions for using Gospel tracts and can be helpful to enhance the Gospel tract ministry of any church or individual.

Dr. Jerry Mullendore wrote the foreword for the book and here is what he has to say about it:

“TIPS FOR TRACTS” is an amazing book on the many ways of using Gospel Tracts to spread the Gospel! Dr. Richard Ciarrocca is a Man of God with a desire to reach the lost at any cost and under any conditions.  He has done his homework in this book and the ideas are tremendous and challenging!

Reading through the book, I was amazed at the information it contains but more than that, the men that were influenced by a tract thrilled my soul!  Great men like Hudson Taylor were saved by a gospel tract and he later founded the China Inland Mission and because of that tract, millions have come to Christ!

This book sparks many thoughts concerning how to give someone a tract and as you read it, you will smile and think, “Why didn’t I think of that?” or “That will work!” The Gospel Tract is one of the most powerful tools man has access to!  The fact that many foreign mission fields were opened by  missionaries using tracts to win the lost to Christ.  The Mayflower on her first trip to America,  Pastor John Robinson’s tracts was part of the precious cargo!  Over and over we read about John Wesley, Oswald Smith, C. H. Spurgeon, George Whitefield, William Penn, and Dwight Moody all of whom used and was influenced by gospel tracts.  Oh, the power of the printed word!

Read this book and take its content to heart! It will not only change your Christian walk, but will help you to be involved in reaching the world for Christ.
