Real Peace-E“The Berlin wall has come down, and the Communist barbed wire and guard posts are gone. We are told that Communism is dead, and that those countries and people once under Communist rule are now free. We’re told that the world is at peace, so they say. The truth of the matter is that the world is NOT at peace. In 1994 American armed forces were sent to Haiti. In Rwanda Hutus and Tutus slaughtered each other. In Bosnia the country is destroyed by ethnic fighting. Iraq rattles its war sabres while Israelis are being shot at by their foes and murdered by homicide bombers. And so the list grows and goes. The president of the United States sends forth his Secretary of State to negotiate peace while dispatching the military to enforce it.  The fact is, world peace just does not exist – it cannot in a world so ravaged by sin! It’s no wonder that individual people and whole nations are in constant turmoil. But don’t despair, friend, for peace, that quietness and rest, is possible in this present world of chaos. . . .”  {The above is a partial wording for the languages other than English; the English version was updated on 6 Mar 2014.}

The opening paragraph of the English version reads: “WE live in a time when the world is in great turmoil and, there is no sign that it will get any better any time soon. Countries that were once free are being taken over by those who are determined to force their will on the people. In the Middle East, Islamic radicals are fighting to take control of countries and, in some places, they fight among themselves. Europe and Africa are in an upheaval and Russia knows no real peace. Asia is a powder keg waiting to explode. In Latin American countries the drug cartels continue to increase in power and dominance; government’s corruption is as corrupt as ever. America is being torn apart by one political scandal after another and crime in the streets is worse than it has ever been. Millions upon millions of dollars are spent by world governments in the name of trying to bring about peace, a futile attempt at best.”

With the world being in such a mess and getting worse, this Gospel tract explains how a person can have the peace that passes all understanding. Real Peace In A Troubled World is available from Pilgrim Fundamental Baptist Press for a contribution of $2.60 per 100 copies, plus postage for the English version; other languages remain at $1.00 per 100 plus postage. It is available in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Danish, K’ekchi, Japanese, and Polish.
